Abstract:

In the following article, René,GUENON's view on the correct approach to Hindu studies is discussed. In this regard, GUENON's view is presented in the context of critique of the scientific and historical view, which is opposite to his view. According to GUENON, the division into two views, western and eastern, is generally justifiable, and the western view has serious flaws that it cannot properly understand the teachings of the East, especially Hinduism. therefore, he rejects the general competence of the West in understanding the East, Among the reasons: he mentions lack of understanding of the spirit of the Oriental language and lack of intra-religious views. in return,The necessary principles for understanding these teachings will be explained from his works,1-Having a stable-oriented view, not evolutionary 2-Believing in metaphysics and its effects 3-Understanding the spirit of Hindu language 4-Having an empathetic and intra-religious view 5-Having a cryptic and symbolic view which is discussed in this article.

Abstract:

Sacred Science is one of the traditionalists' principles among them some philosophers like Sayyed Hossein Nasr, Frithjof Schuon, and RENE GUENON can be noted. Having this principle, a theory of science, and a religious theory in general an Islamic one in particular, can be explained and reconstructed. This reconstruction reveals that traditionalists can be considered as advocates of religious science. In this paper, concepts like sacred science, and tradition and traditionalism are explained, criteria of classification of religious science's theories are mentioned, and theories of religious science are analyzed as minimal, maximal, and median ones, and also as reductive, established, and mixed theories. Reconstruction of traditionalists' account shows despite of differences among scholars' view, it is possible to accept religious science in a reductive approach based on sacred science, and traditional sciences can be shown as examples of religious science. Particularly, it can be said, in Sayyed Hossein Nasr's view, sciences with Islamic attributes are realized, and they have to be recognized in contemporary age, in other words, Islamic sciences must be revived.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Traditionalism-as a school established at 20th century by RENE GUENON, Ananda Coomaraswamy and expanding and developing by figures like Seyyed Hossein Nasr , Martin Lings ,Titus Burckhardt and ...- assumes human as vicegerent of God which has an important role in the universe. In this point of view Egalitarianism isn't acceptable because human beings are different in respect of sexuality, emotions, talents and races. Differences between races and societies prove the necessity of religious plurality on one hand, and unity of the Reality above the forms prove "Transcendence Unity of Religion" on the other.

Abstract:

This Present paper has been written in two sections. The first section is trying to refer to plato's works especially the "Phaedrus dialogue", and make it clear that his purpose by reminiscence theory is reminding the divine ideas and transcendental realities through seeing things as the symbols. In the second section the spiritual role of art from the viewpoint of the great members of contemporary traditionalists such as RENE GUENON, F.Schuon, and Titus Burkhart is studied. And finally as a conclusion the role of Plato's theory of reminiscence in explaining the spirtitual role of art from the viewpoint of traditionalists is clarified.

Abstract:

In this paper, the creep strength of RENE 80 superalloy in both uncoated and coated states is studied experimentally. The operation temperature range of this superalloy is 760–982 °C, in order to increase its resistance to surface degradation factors such as oxidation, hot corrosion and erosion at high temperatures, a coating is applied on it and its use without coating is not recommended. In this paper, diffiosion aluminide coatings were applied to this superalloy by two separate methods of pack cemantation and slurry under the brand names of Codep B and IP1041, respectively, and the effect of these coatings on the creep life of this superalloy at 982 °C and metallography is examined by SEM was investigated. For this purpose, samples according to ASTM-E8 standard were produced and after coating along with uncoated samples were subjected to creep test according to ASTM-E139 standard. Control parameters including temperature, stress and service life of uncoated samples are evaluated according to C50TF28 standard. Uncoated creep samples lost their strength after an average of 33 hours and rupture occured. Codep-B coated samples lost their strength after on average of 45 hours and slurry-coated samples lost their strength after on average of 51 hours. The results showed that the coatings increased the creep life of the coated samples compared to the uncoated samples by at least 12 hours.

Abstract:

One of the key issues in the philosophy of Descartes that is very important today for researchers of the philosophy of the middle Ages and the New Period in the West is Descartes’ approach regarding the causal relation between different things in the world. Descartes’ view on the relation between soul and body is an Occasionalistic view. According to this view, it is God that is the final causation in the relation between soul and body. But in this article, the key question is whether Descartes’ view on the relation between all things in the world, material or immaterial an Occasionalistic one. And can we call him the founder of Occasionalism; or should we trace this view back to the books of Medieval Age philosophers? Therefore, in this article we will try to show that, based on Descartes’ different books, and according to some Medieval Age texts, we can ascribe to Descartes a Quasi-Occasionalistic, according to which, besides God, we can ascribe a causal faculty to material and physical things in the world.

Abstract:

We have not exaggerated, if we claim that all the poetry of RENE Char is a challenge to the French poetry between the contradictory category of "openness" and "dependence. " In fact, in his poetry, we always witness the exuberant desire of the subject to go, escape, and change permanently, and on the other hand, the tendency to return to the starting point where the departure had begun. The return is not for permanent stay, but for the subject to take advantage of this initial location as a launch pad, and the launch pad is nothing but an energy source for the subject which looks for openness to discover different possibilities only through relying on the source of energy of the initial locations. The subject of Char never tones to the deceptive charm of closed places where he can repose, but on the contrary, he sees himself continuously ready for permanent vivification. In other words, he would prefer the hazard of departure to indolence. So far, many studies have been done on poems and philosophical themes of Char, and critics have often criticized, studied and analyzed his works. Raychar explores the main themes of the Char's poetry and the dominance of his poetic language. In some part of this work, he analyzes Rambo's poetry in depth. By reading this section, the poet's influence on Char is clear. Char who has also been influenced by the Heraclite ideas, prefers the "permanent movement, " "becoming, " and "openness" to "the stagnation of rational and rational transparency. " Char like Heraclite confirms the existence of a world in which everything, and even the world itself, is always in the midst of change. Therefore, every thought is rejected by the positivist certainty that is based on rational transparency. Char in Marto collection of poetry, quotes from Heraclite: "It should be remembered who forgets where the road ends" (cité par René Char, 1934: 11). This sentence emphasizes the denial of determination the proof that defines all the data beforehand. It can be argued that for Char what is essential is guaranteeing your presence at the moment, a moment that is full of anxiety and risk. The anxiety that comes from going to the unknown discovery that lies ahead of the subject. In fact, for Heraclite, like Char, "escaping from scientific certainty and giving up to the necessary and possible affair, while accepting the risk, is guaranteed to be present at the moment" (Fortier, 1996: 65). Char believes that in order to be present at the moment, we need an eternal death in the moment. In other words, the human being who is constantly witnessing his death at the moment and constantly living death is the living human being, because he is ready to accept new experiences at any moment. The main purpose of this paper is to answer the question that, basically, in the Char’ s poetry which poetic images portray these two opposite tendencies, namely, the desire for departure and openness and return to consoling and supporting initiating places in a metaphorical manner.

Abstract:

The concept of "The Sacred" is the most central concept on which traditionalists emphasize such that we can say that it is one of the main themes of this school. In this article we attempt to explain this notion and its relations to some other notions such as tradition, modernity, and transcendent unity of religions, nature, man and perennial philosophy. Moreover we try to explore traditionalists' world-view and their approach to religion. This investigation is confined to the opinions of three wellknown traditionalists: RENE GUENON, Frithjof Schuon and Seyyed Hossein Nasr. The ultimate conclusion of this explanation would be an understanding of traditionalists' invitation to return to tradition and search for the Sacred in the modern world.

Abstract:

Imam Mohammad Ghazali and RENE Descartes, two conspicuous thinkers from east and west, have in one way or another influenced their own era's thoughts and ideas. Hence they have caused great changes in human thoughts.Descartes influenced the new western philosophy and Ghazali paved the way for philosophy to go from East of Islamic world to its West (Andalusia and the north of Africa) and also paved the way for the emergence of great philosophers as Averroes (Ibn Roshd), Ibn Tofail and Averroes (Ibn Baje). The study of Gazali and Decartes' views familiarizes the readers with the transformation and changes of thoughts that these thinkers caused. The writer of this article intends to investigate how Ghazali and Descartes moved out from skepticism to faith.
